This guide is for people who are switching over from Daloopa’s previous design and want to see how things have changed.
Why we redesigned Daloopa’s Marketplace
Daloopa’s has grown – our coverage, data quality and features to deliver that data – and in the meantime, our UI became increasingly complex. Our intent is to make Daloopa more focused on analysts’ most important needs during the most critical times of the year. Whether you are aiming to simplify your earnings workflow, ramp up faster at a new job or get more context on your coverage, Daloopa’s new marketplace UI is designed to be personalized around the analyst. And every analyst is unique.
The main benefits of this update are:
- Simple search to get to your coverage immediately
- See your existing coverage right when you log in
- Know instantly about data update status with ETAs and notifications
- Take action quickly with easy next steps
- Set up notifications for how you want to be updated going forward
- Get access to resources when you’re stuck
What’s Changed
1) Navigation panel
We’ve removed the top navigation and created a new navigation panel on the left side of the page to house where you personalize your experience and all the helpful resources, including our knowledgebase documentation (planned to be updated soon too).
- Minimize the UI: Click the sandwich icon to minimize the Navigation panel and have a wider view of your coverage. Re-click when you want to see the full navigation panel again.
- Access the Documentation: Click the documentation icon to access the current knowledge base articles. Planning to update this in 1H 2025.
- Get Support: Click the Support icon to open a support ticket via email.
- See Alerts on your coverage only: Click the Alerts icon to open a window with a list of updates on all the tickers you follow.
- Switch back to the old marketplace: At the bottom of the navigation, you can click the button that takes you to the old marketplace. (You will be able to find Industry Models here, for example, so you may need to do that until the second phase of the rollout.) You will get back to the new UI the next time you log in.
2) Simplified Company or Ticker Search
We removed the side navigation listing out all of the sectors and individuals coverage. No one’s got time for that! Now, we push users to simply search for their Ticker or Company name in the top search bar.
The company will quickly populate and you can follow it by checking the star and making sure it pops up on your personalized homepage.
3) Personalized Homepage
We’ve turned the homepage into your own personalized dashboard, only displaying the coverage you follow.
Now, when you log in, all you will see are the companies that matter to you.
To follow, simply click the star to the left of the company you want to follow and they will always show up when you log in.
4) Easy Tabular Snapshot on Your Coverage
For each company, you will find all the relevant information and actions you need in each row.
- Company Name: Legal entity name
- Ticker: Listed ticker symbol
- Starting Quarter: First quarter of data available in the Daloopa database
- Updated Through: Last quarter of data available in the Daloopa database
- Update Timestamp: Time last available data point was added in the database
- State: Shows the processing stage your data is currently in (see more in #5 below)
- Actions: Quickly preview every KPI collected, see updating times per KPI, and download the latest datasheet
This clean, tabular view aims to place all the companies you care about in one place with quick action.
5) Real-time Data Update Status
With our newest feature – Data Update Status and Notifications – Daloopa Plus users can now see when your data will be available after the company press release. This is critical during earnings season when you need to track your positions fast and need to make decisions before earnings calls.
In the marketplace, you’ll see a new column that shows the State of data:
In the Daloopa Excel Add-in, Daloopa Plus users will now see a new panel on the Update tab that incorporates more detail including the current state and an ETA.

Common questions
Can I still access the old UI?
- Yes. To make the transition to the new UI easier, everyone has the ability to toggle between the old and the new UI so they can get accustomed to the redesign. On the bottom left of the new Navigation panel, click Switch to Old Marketplace.
Can I still access Industry Models?
- Yes. You will have to switch back to the old UI and access Industry Models where they used to be on the left navigation. We are currently working on moving those over to the new UI in phase 2. Feel free to reach out to your CSM for support.
